Ohio State team travels to Honduras children’s home

A group of students from Ohio State University is spending this week at the MdL children’s home in Honduras. The Buck-I-SERV team is spending time with the children and staff at Montaña de Luz.

This is the first immersion trip of 2026 from the United States.

Activities include an HIV education program called Charla Luz, plus service projects to repaint the kitchen and improve the guard house.

In addition, students are spending time with the children in activities such as volleyball, painting, soccer and morning chapel services.
